Meet Jody Britt

Jody has been immersed in music and photography since she was a child. Her father, Jim Britt, was Motown Record’s chief art director and photographer in the 1970s, and created album covers for legendary artists like Marvin Gaye, the Jackson 5, and Diana Ross. Jody got her start helping her father at his shoots where she learned the difference between a fine art photograph and a ‘good’ photo early on in life.

Jody is an experienced art sales consultant and business driver, responsible for the launch of two fine art photography companies (Morrison Hotel Gallery Los Angeles and Rock Paper Photo) and two private businesses (Britton Fine Art and Britt Fine Art Consulting). She was also on staff at Galerie Malraux in Los Angeles and the 72 Market Street Gallery in Santa Monica. Motivated, connected and personable, she is a proven curator in fine art photography developing relationships with over 200 internationally acclaimed pop culture fine art photographers. Experienced in creating and curating unique photographic collections, including securing guest curators Alec Baldwin, Dita Von Teese and Chef Daniel Humm.

Committed to outstanding client service, she develops close relationships with business partners, artists and buyers sourcing new unseen rare and iconic artwork. Her first hand knowledge of the artistic process helps her bring a passion and strong appreciation for all artwork, which translates as enthusiasm and commitment to any project she works on. She has been able to work closely with the best pop culture photographers worldwide and enjoys marrying their great work with a broad clientele base.
